Hopes and Dreams

At the beginning of each year, one of the first things I need to know about my students are their hopes and dreams for the year. Helping you accomplish your goals in school is a major part of my job as a teacher. Here are some examples of my past students' hopes and dreams:

• My dream is to pass multiplication and division in rocket math.
• My hope is to run a mile in less than 8 minutes.
• My hope is to score 15 points higher on my NWEA reading test.
• My dream for the year is to learn more about why the Civil War started.
